Somatic Yoga & Embodied Movement
Somatic yoga & embodied movement here are about relationship, not performance. These practices invite you to notice how your body feels, to explore options and boundaries, and to access rest and regulation without pressure to look a certain way.
We draw from styles such as Yin (Slow Flow), gentle Ashtanga‑influenced vinyasa (Fire Flow), Hatha, and accessible movement, always with consent‑based cueing and lots of choice.

These classes can support you to:
Rebuild trust with your body after stress, burnout, or trauma
Explore movement in a space that doesn’t prioritize flexibility, shape, or aesthetics
Find grounding and presence when you feel scattered or overwhelmed
Gently strengthen and stretch in ways that feel respectful to your limits
Practice saying yes/no and listening to your body’s “enough”
-
You can expect:
Options for postures and movements, including chair‑based or low‑impact variations
Invitations to rest at any time, without justification
Language that centers curiosity and consent rather than correction or critique
A focus on breath, pacing, and nervous system regulation
You are never required to push through pain, override instinct, or share more than feels right.

This space is for beginners and experienced practitioners alike, especially those who have felt judged, unseen, or unsafe in mainstream yoga, wellness, and fitness environments, particularly marginalized bodies and identities.
